My latest video is live and pairs my personal experiences with yesterday’s blog about the importance of reflecting. I’d appreciate you watching it as well as subscribing to my YouTube channel, helping me towards my goal of becoming a creator, consultant and mentor full time.

I am a middle school teacher living in Central Florida. I have taught Reading, ELA, Business, and an NJROTC prep course, as well as been an instructional coach since beginning my career in 2007. I am currently a virtual teacher teaching Career and Technology to middle school students. I earned my Bachelor's in Business and Professional Leadership and Master's in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University. I live in a multi-generational household with my dad, husband, and youngest son, and my oldest jut graduated college and recently "left the nest". I am an Air Force veteran that loved serving my country, but was medically discharged due to asthma. I found teaching was the next best way to serve my country, and it gave me more time with my family and to feed my travel habit. I have always dreamed of being a writer but could never find the time, so now I am making the time by writing about things I love and helping others. When I am not teaching or writing, I enjoy reading, walking, running, visiting local parks, zoos and gardens, or being out on the water. Spending time with those I love or having interesting conversations with people at random are enjoyable moments in life. I'm a hopeless movie buff and lover of the Japanese channel since I adore learning about new cultures. I am an avid traveler that has been to all 50 states and currently revisiting with my son and husband, and I have even had the joy of visiting a few European countries, and even living in England for a few years.
